Using Flashy with ARC Obsidian or Talos

Update Jan 2026: This mod is no longer needed for Talos/Obsidian out of the box. It still might be useful for some users.

ARC Obsidian: Leatherman's DLC coated surfaces are 10+ ohms in our tests, you may need and see increased brightness by doing this mod.

ARC Talos: The ceramic coating on the Talos is non conductive, the copper tape path to the screws is the only work around.

1. Cut a small piece of 1/4" copper tape (0.03mm thickness is used here).

2. Apply the tape over the mounting area

3. Mount Flashy, take care not strip the screws. If the screws are not "biting" correctly, back the screw off while applying downwards pressure and try again.
